Welcoming new students from around the world has been part of the culture of the Université libre de Bruxelles for many years. With a third of its students being foreigners and an academic staff of diverse origins, the ULB promotes meetings and intercultural exchanges.
A student looking for diverse experiences and openness will be happy to learn that enrolling for a semester, an academic year or an internship abroad is possible under Erasmus + or partnership agreements outside Europe.
To leave the walls of ULB, to conduct an internship or to follow courses, to work in a laboratory in another university of this country is also on the program of several faculties. The ULB has also concluded more than 900 agreements with European and international universities and has developed 120 international research projects (notably the Marie Curie Network) that promote the exchange and mobility of its researchers.
